Dr. Manny Kumar - Chiropractor
Dr. Manny is a Chiropractor registered with The College of Chiropractors Of Ontario. After living and practicing in the United States, Dr. Manny has returned to Mississauga, ON with a tremendous amounts of experience in multiple populations and also to make his hometown healthier and more informed on the changes in modern healthcare.Dr. Manny first decided that he wanted a career in healthcare when he suffered a baseball injury and was helped back on to the field through Structural Chiropractic care. As a high level NCAA Division 1 athlete, he valued that there was more to the body than just what he could “feel” and “see”. In the past years, Dr. Manny has been a part of some of the largest Structural Chiropractic offices in San Diego, California and Atlanta, Georgia. The majority of his patients were families who wanted to be healthy and optimal.On top of his chiropractic degree, Dr. Manny completed his Master’s degree in Sports Health Science and Athletic Injuries. His vision is to help families understand their overall function and how to live a better life through understanding their spinal structure and CNS function. Throughout his baseball career, chiropractic care allowed him, and others, to achieve higher levels in training, recovery, and overall performance. This was based on health strategies individualized for each athlete and their personal needs to perform at a higher level.
In addition to his family and sports chiropractic background, he is only one of few chiropractors in the world that have a designation for proficiency in utilizing the TORQUE RELEASE TECHNIQUE. He has helped many patients through gentle and precise Structural Chiropractic adjustments. Pregnant mothers, seniors and children respond well to TORQUE RELEASE TECHNIQUE technique and others prefer it over other forms of “traditional” adjusting. Dr. Manny takes the time to help others understand their health conditions and gets them back to what they enjoy doing them most. Dr. Manny is proficient in Punjabi and Hindi.
When Dr. Manny isn’t treating his patients at Modern Wellness Centre, you can find him working with professional, college, and youth athletes at his sports clinic and facility called Apex Optimal Performance (www.apexmississauga.ca) in Mississauga, ON.

Liam Munshi - Physiotherapist Resident
As a former NCAA Division 2 baseball player, Liam has been at the center of optimizing movement for well-over a decade. His seemingly-constant state of being injured, inspired Liam to search out answers through education, resulting in a career path in rehabilitative science.
Through his four-year degree, Liam has worked with a large variety of NCAA teams and population types, ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics. His lifetime goal is to keep as many people as he can from giving up their passions because of pain.
As a Physiotherapy Resident and Certified Athletic Therapist in rehabilitative exercise, his mission is to cement the physical corrections made to the spinal and musculoskeletal system with specific movement patterns, resulting in long-term health.

Pankaj Patel - Registered R.M.T.
Pankaj is Registered Massage Therapist with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. He is a graduate from Pharma Medical College and is very knowledgeable about the function and biomechanics of the human frame. His interest in the profession began because he believes that Massage Therapy is an effective way to promote healing and well-being. His treatment methods are very effective, and he tailors his treatments to fit the needs of each client. Under the scope of his practice, he is comfortable working on all types of medical conditions. On days off, he enjoys spending time with his family.
Maiya Ahluwalia - Registered Dietitian / Nutritionist
Maiya Ahluwalia is a registered dietitian with the College of Dietitians of Ontario and is an active member of Dietitians of Canada. From an early age Maiya was interested in sports and nutrition but never knew she could build a career from it. Fast track to now, Maiya attended the University of Guelph where she completed the Applied Human Nutrition program and achieved an honours in Bachelors of Applied Sciences. Maiya also went on to complete her Masters in Nutrition (MAN) at the University of Guelph where she gained advanced professional nutrition knowledge and competency-based practical experience. Maiya has a vast array of experiences working in settings such as clinical nutrition, community nutrition, large corporations, family health teams, and nutrition management roles. These experiences have allowed her to work with a variety of individuals of all age groups. Maiya’s experience has allowed her to determine her key interests which include: pediatric nutrition, prenatal & postnatal nutrition, sport nutrition, community nutrition, and nutrition education.
Dr. Vishaala Singh - Naturopathic Doctor
Dr. Singh is a licensed and board-certified Naturopathic Doctor with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario. Prior to completing her Doctor of Naturopathy degree at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, she completed an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Biology from the University of Guelph. She is also certified in facial rejuvenation and cosmetic acupuncture and is a naturopathic birth doula. She is passionate about educating, supporting and inspiring her patients to achieve optimal health, so that they can feel their very best. She believes in getting to the root cause of an individual’s health concerns by assessing them as a whole and addressing all of the contributors to their health. Her intention is to make healthy living realistic and sustainable. Everyone is unique, therefore she works with her patients to come up with a personalized plan that fits their lifestyle. Her goal is to provide you with the knowledge and tools to maintain your health long term. She is well versed in treating various conditions, but has a special interest in women’s hormonal concerns, preconception/postpartum care, paediatrics, digestive issues, weight loss and autoimmune conditions. Her treatment plans include non-restrictive dietary recommendations, nutritional supplementation, lifestyle counselling, herbal medicine and acupuncture. When not seeing patients, Dr. Singh enjoys being active outdoors, cooking/baking and playing with her 4 year old daughter.
